All Painting Ltd. is a painting and decorating company that has existed in BC since 1998.
It has Gold Star status with WorkSafe BC and takes huge pride in its workmanship, and its team of Burnaby painters and Coquitlam painters‘ ability to complete projects on time, on schedule, and on budget. Its total business volume is $3,000,000 per year.
But recently, All Painting found itself facing a difficult situation – a situation that only The Coding Bull could help with.
All Painting was locked into a two-year contract with Yellow Pages that cost a whopping $2500 of the company’s marketing budget every single month.
The Yellow Pages approach got All Painting plenty of website clicks but hardly any concrete sales inquiries. Worse still, when sales inquiries did come through, the contact info that was submitted was often fake. Frustratingly, this is a common experience.
Smaller companies hire big marketing corporations on a charge-by-service basis. Yet, despite being expensive, those services don’t actually work very well.
Why? Basically, you are locked in a 2-year contract where you have to pay even when the results are disappointing. In this model, the marketing team are not motivated to make the best use of your hard earn dollars.

The Results Of Our Work
However, everything changed for All Painting once they hired us to run their marketing campaigns in July 2017.
After we had set our processes in motion, the company started to grow rapidly, fuelled by sales inquiries from the website.
Between the month of June 2017 & July 2017 (the month when TCB began its marketing campaign for All Painting) their website saw an increase of 87.5% in sessions and 28.95% in users.
Overall, this amounted to a huge improvement in All Painting’s search engine presence, which increased from 7.5% to 13.32% which is nearly a 175 percent improvement.
August is supposed to be the peak month for a painting business.
But as a result of our efforts, All Painting received more service inquiries in January of this year than they did in August of last year.
To be clear, January should have been the slowest month for All Painting. Instead, it was – up to that point – the fastest.

Amazingly, by March, we had doubled AP’s summer service inquiries.

Before AP hired us, it had one estimator.
Now it has three – and the staff never sit comfortably in the office anymore because they are so busy giving out free estimates to prospective customers.
